Politics and Fashion should never be “bed-fellows”

I usually love the blog named “StyleBlazer”. They are a wonderful blog dealing with everything “Black and Fabulous” in fashion. They have a HUGE African American demographic, and the articles are spicy, yet wonderfully written. But there is something that annoys me. Many of their articles are “slightly inflammatory” when dealing with fashion diversity / trend setting of certain celebs. This last article I read left me “bewildered” to say the least. It deals with Kanye West, wearing a long knit top coupled with fab leather slacks. Here is what StyleBlazer had to say,

“If it looks like a skirt, and hangs like a skirt, on Kanye…is it still a skirt?
Yeezy was spotted this past Friday at the Givenchy fall/winter 2012 runway show wearing one of the brand’s skirts, or kilts, or skirts—whatever way you look at it, it doesn’t have legs. The important thing is, Kanye styled his high-fashion designer wear with a washed-out blue sweatshirt, black leather-sleeved hoody, and leather pants, affecting a bit of rocker edge.”

StyleBlazer, why go there? Im just saying,…….
